Abstract

Qualitative research focuses on utilizing words, which involves an in-depth understanding of human behavior [Bryman and Bell, 2003]. This article critically evaluates the research design and data collection of an empirical study which probes the rapid internationalization phenomenon through qualitative research strategies. The selected articles are "The Born-Global Phenomenon: A Comparative Case Study Research" [Rialp et al., 2005] It has been identified that it is necessary for the authors to compose a detailed justification of their research design and data collection strategy in the research reports.
