Abstract

This article was made with the purpose of automating the academic control and support of the logbooks (information), using the "Cloud Computing" platform, changing the traditional way in which the fields of action are developed, through the development of a system of academic control based on Python and Cloud Computing. In this way a descriptive investigation was developed with the purpose of knowing to what extent the proposed system will cover the demands of the teachers, who develop the fields of action of the Educational Unit "October 9", allowing to improve the workflows between the different actors avoiding repetitive tasks, loss of information and reduced time in academic processes, the system was developed in a Web environment, with Bootstrap4 and the Flask framework, which allowed to use HTML templates, incorporating a friendly and dynamic interface for a Simplified use of the proposed platform. Information was collected through the application of surveys to both teachers and students that make up the groups of fields of action, with the probabilistic criteria which allowed to have a representation about the operation of the system, a case study was carried out that was supported by the review offered by teachers and students about the operation of the system. Among the main results, the level of acceptance, the functionality of the system and the reduction in times of filling of information and preparation of final reports by the teacher were appreciated.
