Abstract

This paper introduces an extended set-membership filter (ESMF) method in the field of power system state estimation, when the noises is unknown but bounded (UBB), this method can enhance the reliability and accuracy of estimation result. The method is based on a dynamic state model. ESMF is applied to this system. ESMF provides 100% confidence in the reliability and safety of the power system. In this paper, ESMF is derived and demonstrated through the IEEE 30 test system.
