Abstract

Company X is one of the mining companies that manages natural wealth in the form of andesite stone. The Company conducts surface mining using the quarry method located in Kalirejo Village, Kokap District, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential hazards in mining activities and carry out control efforts by using risk control from the Decree of the Director General of Mineral and Coal of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources no. 185.K37.04.DJB. 2019. The results of the hazardous event assessment based on the AS/NZS 4360:2004 assessment are: At this stage there are 4 hazardous events and 2 dangerous events. At the loading stage there are 3 high risk hazardous events and 2 moderate dangerous events. As for the transportation stage, there are 3 hazardous hazards and 1 moderate hazardous event.
