Abstract

In this paper we define the lower and upper approximations of fuzzy sets in a group with respect to a fuzzy normal subgroup and study their product properties. We introduce the notion of a rough fuzzy subgroup of a group with respect to a fuzzy normal subgroup and study the relation between the fuzzy subgroup and the rough fuzzy subgroup. We also study the homomorphic properties of the rough fuzzy subgroups.
