Abstract

As we look ahead into the next century leaders will be those who empower others. The leader is one who leads the employee to increase the productivity and productivity is the most important factor affecting the performance of any organization. Skilled and dedicated leadership can set good values. The responsibility of a leader to make workers feel comfortable in doing the job. The behaviour of the leader creates happy or unhappy situations among employees. It is found that employee productivity is influenced by leader skills and behaviour. This is conceptual paper and the main aim of the paper is to prove a relationship between leadership and productivity.
