Abstract

Wireless ad-hoc and intrastructure networks have become very popular during the last ten years. Due to this reason, wireless security has become a very serious issue, specially in healthcare intrastructure networks. The aim of this research is to quantify the impact of security on the performance of healthcare networks. Many experiments are conducted by using TCP and UDP traffice to analyse the security behavior on network performance. Results show that security implementation affact the performance of wireless healthcare centers. At the end we will show that how our proposed approach will achive the maximum performance. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
