Assays of MSCs with microarrays

Abstract

The rapid development of microarray technology during the last decade has greatly expanded the ability to define the genes expressed in cells. This chapter will focus on describing the steps required for conducting successful microarray experiments with multipotential stromal cells (MSCs). A complete microarray experiment, using the Affymetrix system, will be described starting from experimental design and ending with examples of data analysis using the dChip program. © 2008 Humana Press, a part of Springer Science+Business Media, LLC.
