Initiatives of IRPA in risk communication

Abstract

The International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA) is engaged in efforts to provide guidance to its member societies for engaging stakeholders and for improving the radiation safety culture. Both of these activities involve aspects of risk communication. This paper describes the portions of these efforts that are relevant to risk communication and the approach taken by IRPA. © 2009 Springer-Verlag.
