Abstract

This paper reviews accumulated experiences with pelvic kidney at u single hospital for the 10-year period ending July 1, 1970. The diagnostic and therapeutic implications of this rare, congenital anomaly arc emphasized by a resume of the pertinent clinical findings in 21 patients. A comparative review of the literature on pelvic kidney is presented. The embrology, incidence, congenital variants, and associated genital anomalies are summarized. © 1971 The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
