This chapter examines the various concepts of Europe found in Danish social media discourse, set against a comparative background of corresponding German data, using large annotated Facebook and Twitter corpora covering the 2017–2019 period. Both morphosyntactic and semantic information are exploited to identify conceptual features, and word-embedding vector differences are used to measure conceptual dimensions such as place-hood, statehood and the traces of a nascent European identity.
