Abstract

Body mass index (BMI) is one of the most accurate ways to measure obesity in practice. BMI is calculated by dividing the body weight with the square of height (kg/m 2). According to the World Health Organization, the normal range of BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9, and individuals with a BMI of 25-30 are considered to be overweight, while those with a BMI over 30 are classified as obese [1].
