Abstract

Static Worst-Case Execution Time (WCET) analysis aims to find safe upper bounds to the execution time of a program. We give a brief status report on the field of static WCET analysis, and we then present a personal perspective on the current and anticipated forthcoming trends in the area. © 2006 International Federation for Information Processing.
