Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To assess the benefits and harms of exercise therapy for patients following surgical repair of rotator cuff tears. To determine the optimal time post surgery for initiation of passive and active range of motion exercises. To evaluate exercise therapy versus no therapy, exercise therapy versus nonexercise modalities, and slow versus accelerated exercise therapy protocols.
