Abstract
This Chapter focuses on an analysis of the mining sector in the Mekong Region. The study in particular explores what development pathways are possible, what are desired and what are likely. It explores the intersection of the mining sector with other pre-determined regional (transboundary) development decisions (although some are not applicable for this sector) as outlined in Chap. 1.
