Abstract

The concept of Yezonychus Ehara is revised Yezonychus cornus (Pritchard and Baker) comb nov is restricted to mites from Elaeocarpus dentatus in New Zealand Yezonychus falsicornus sp nov infesting Rubus spp, Dysoxylum spectabile, and Weinmannia racemosa, and Yezonychus brevipilus sp nov infesting Letonema nudum, are described from New Zealand A key to known species of Yezonychus is given Data on the biology of the species are included Tribolonychus collyerae gen et sp nov is described from Nothofagus sp in New Zealand. © 2001 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
