Abstract

The article discusses the significance of employee recognition and appreciation to team members in ensuring employee engagement and job satisfaction. It describes various methods of appreciation such as verbal praise, spending quality time with employees and appropriate physical touch in the workplace. It also mentions need to avoid practice of gender inequality in order to ensure motivation among the employees.
