Abstract

The aim of this study was to assess the perceived levels and sources of stress for Polish Female and Male Dental Junior Students, who study in Polish and compare the results of those students with Taiwanese Female and Male Junior Students, who study in English which is not their native language. The procedure was done by the usage of the JINS MEME ES_R (eye sensing for researchers) device. That device is equipped with three-point electrooculography (EOG) and six axis IMU (a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope). GPS Smartwatch Garmin Vivoactive 3 was used in order to measure the heart rate. All the participants of the experiment received, precise information about the task to be performed (filling in a close test on dental knowledge composed of 5 questions with five descriptors, analysis of the 3D model; range, shape and depth of the cavity; explanation about the time limit of preparation) and the recommendations to fully concentrate on the precise shape modeling.
