Abstract

The required power of an iris clip lens as a substitute for the extracted eye-lens is dependent on the refraction of the cornea, the depth of the anterior chamber, the axial length of the eye, and (to avoid aniseikonia) the refraction of the fellow eye. The required power can be calculated within reasonable limits of accuracy. This paper describes a method of accomplishing this and offers the results in the form of Tables.
