Abstract

This study explores how the Experience Halls for Chinese Traditional Culture in colleges and universities inherit and promote traditional Chinese culture. This paper takes Fuzhou University of International Studies and Trade (hereinafter referred to as “our university”) and the establishment of the Experience Hall for Chinese Traditional Culture as an example. By integrating the layout of China’s I Ching, Five Elements of Yin and Yang, based on the local traditional culture, the experiential art teaching is realized. By learning the perceptual cognition of Chinese traditional culture and various knowledge in specific practice, through the promotion of traditional Chinese culture, the study provides a significant guidance with educational value in the practice of the application and promotion of traditional Chinese culture for domestic and foreign universities, overseas Chinese schools and Confucius Institutes.
