Abstract

An extensive search for new methanol sources were made. ^Three new masers in the 7(0)-6(1) A(+) transition and twenty-four new thermal sources in the 1(0)- 0(0)A(+) transition were detected. ^Our results support the idea that high- velocity flows may increase the abundance of methanol and that methanol masers arise in methanol-rich sources. ^(Author (revised))
