This research seeks to understand the help provided by teachers to families of students so that they will participate in the Association of Parents of Students (AMPA) and School Council Center (CEC). For this purpose, a questionnaire applied to 225 teachers who teach Infant, Primary and Secondary Education in a multicultural context has been used. The results show moderate levels of teacher support. Likewise, statistical signifi cance is observed in the AMPA and CEC dimensions regarding some sociodemographic variables. Contextualized intervention programs aimed at teachers are recommended to optimize family participation in both parent representation bodies.
