Abstract

In 1971, the Manager of Public Service Company of Colorado ordered an evaluation of all line clearing contractors that were under contract to the Company to determine which contractor was doing the best job for the Company. Various reports, forms, guidelines and procedures were developed to accomplish this task. Within reasonable limitations, it is now possible to grade the various line clearing contractors and individual crews with a degree of confidence.
