The use of technology must be done by the media business to maintain its existence. Tribun Jogja, a local print newspaper in D.I. Yogyakarta and Central Java, adding Augmented Reality (AR) content as an effort to integrate technology with conventional media. This research uses case study methodology to analyze the use of AR technology in print newspaper Tribun Jogja. Viewed from the strategic side, the use of AR technology is done to prepare for change and as branding as a local print newspaper that is always ahead of innovation. The use of AR technology also has an impact on changes in news management.
