Abstract

As a promising vehicle in the future, electric vehicles will become the common traffic modes for urban residents with the characteristics of green, environmentally friendly, and low carbon. The reasonable layout of the electric vehicle charging station is one of the key factors that will influence the promotion of electric vehicles. Taking urban parking as a platform and based on the harmonization with construction cost and user’s interest, this paper established layout optimization model of charging station using transportation planning theory. Finally, an example is given to test the model. The results can provide certain decision guidance for government to plan electric vehicle charging station.
