Abstract

Background: Alois Alzheimer is a Bavarian born German psychiatrist who is considered as the "Father of Neuropathology" was the first to describe the main neuro pathologic characteristics of the peculiar disease in the brain of a woman showing progressive dementia .Alzheimer observed degenerating neurons with neuro fibrillary tangles and senile plaques.
