Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of teacher commitment and work motivation, on work productivity in Langsa City High School teachers. This study used a sample of 100 respondents from 3 Public High Schools in Langsa City with a Likert scale questionnaire as a method of data collection. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis techniques with multiple regression tests with regression equations to pro- duce constants and regression coefficients of each independent variable. The results of the study of teacher commitment variables have a positive and significant influence on work productivity which is equal to 0.381 or 38.1% and work motivation variables have a positive and significant influ- ence on work productivity of 0.464 or 46.4% in Langsa City High School. In order for teacher work productivity to increase, there needs to be more intensive guidance to teachers in every policy making and provide oppor- tunities for teachers to compete in scientific work competitions or selec- tion of outstanding teachers Keyword:
