Abstract

A robust implementation of residual-based compact schemes of second- and third-order accuracy on structured multiblock grids of industrial use is proposed. Applications to complex transonic unsteady flows in turbomachinery show the advantages of using such schemes in terms of increased accuracy and better insight into the flow physics. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
