Abstract

Hellman examines the way repetitious design elements operate on a social scale. The patron is masterful as a commander of repetition, the users are at once united by the set and differentiated by the way they handle it. Acts by: vision, interaction, aesthetics of surplus. Decoration is like a language, nuanced and difficult.
