Abstract

Though applied for quite some time in Europe and North America, programs for hospitalization at home (Home Care) is a new technology that is changing the health systems in Brazil. In this type of healthcare service the patient care is done at his home, where it is taken all the necessary biomedical devices along with the risks that are related to the use of such devices. It is reported here a sequence of activities, to identify a context and all possible risk in Home Care programs. © 2009 Springer-Verlag.
