Abstract

Artificial insemination has been used to treat infertility since the eighteenth century, and continues to be commonly performed. This chapter explores the medical indications for use of artificial insemination and provides evidence-based recommendations for therapeutic use. © Springer Science+Business Media, LLC 2010.
