Abstract

In this paper, the intensive and automatic warehouse system based on lane-switch shuttles is researched. This system can be classified into two types according to with transporting lanes or not. A lane-switch shuttle has the function of walking along a vertical and crossing path on the plane, which can be transferred between different storage channels by oneself, to improve the storage efficiency of system. And the scheduling method of walking for lane-switch shuttle has been introduced.
