Abstract

In the molecule of the title compound, C13H14O 4, the benzene ring forms dihedral angles of 18.60 (7) and 81.36 (8)° with the two arms of the malonate moiety. The crystal structure features C - H⋯O interactions, which form chains running parallel to the b axis. © Barakat et al. 2013.
