Abstract

Internetworking, a social-networking software which is helping people find friends, get work and close deals by highlighting the hidden connections between users, is discussed. Visible Path's software scans employees' desktop applications for data on their relationships with people outside the company and builds and 'enterprise network map'. Visible Path help clients take better advantage of their employees' business relationships. According to sources, eighty to ninety percent of social networks have a digital component, be it an archive of e-mail correspondence or vital statistics logged into a sales force database.
