Abstract

The high generation of village solid waste in villages is crucial problem and burning topic due to rapid industrialization, technical development and modern living standard. It creates challenge for the authorities of rural and urban areas. The well transportation facility to reach urban areas, educational awareness and increasing in earning capacity of rural people causes improvement in all facilities of rural areas. The impact of living standard of urban people attracts the rural people leading to generate village solid waste (vsw). Waste creates major problems to environment. i.e. air pollution, water pollution and Soil pollution. Nowadays it is not only the urban problem but also the village problems too. It is emergency to take efforts to overcome these problems. This paper focuses existing facts of rural solid waste situation, the problems of solid waste, probable solutions of segregation and treatment.
