Abstract

Many theorists have devoted a considerable part of their careers to the Hubbard model. Nevertheless, it remains a source of much fascination and bewilderment. Perhaps it is because the Hubbard model is the simplest many-particle model one can write down, which cannot be reduced to a single-particle theory.
