Abstract

This chapter explores ethnic/racial disparities surrounding fertility/infertility (specifically unassisted reproduction) and will provide evidence from the literature that supports hypothesized hormonal, metabolic, anatomic, and cultural factors which may affect natural fertility. Current available information on racial and ethnic differences in unassisted reproduction and infertility, specific to patients outside the USA is also reviewed.
