Abstract

Statistics of radioactivityThe laws of Statistics find applications in the phenomenon of radioactivity. The disintegration of a nucleus is a random event which is not affected by the history of the nucleus or the conditions external to the nucleus. The probabilities that govern radioactive decay are evaluated.
