Abstract

Nasopalatine duct cysts are relatively rare nonodontogenic developmental cysts. In the current case, we found an exceptionally large nasopalatine duct cyst which had grown and developed as if to displace the periphery from the maxillary mid-portion. The case was a 38-year-old male with chief complaints of a swelling and pain of the left cheek. Based on the overall findings, including clinical presentations and image findings, we diagnosed the case as a nasopalatine duct cyst As treatment we chose total removal. Postoperatively, the patient showed no sign of relapse and his QOL has been maintained.
