Security by Design Development Methodology for File Hosting Case

Abstract

The use of “security by design” (SbD) approach in smart university systems can increase university’s cybersecurity. The paper presents an application of SbD approach to the development of Web applications as well as the key points, features, advantages, and disadvantages of SbD approach. A comparative analysis of measures to counter the cybersecurity threats in various approaches to the system’s design is presented.
