Abstract

For the problems of matrix converter in practical application, firstly this paper analyzes the working principle of matrix converter and the space vector modulation control strategy, then uses matlab/simulink to model and simulate for matrix converter, analyze the key problems of space vector modulation control strategy between the simulation: the sector partition and the nine-segment symmetric modulation, the theory of Matrix Converter space vector modulation is correct through the simulation test, realize the advantages of Matrix Converter: the input power factor, high efficiency, two-way flow of energy and good output voltage waveform and so on. It is the foundation of matrix converter in the application of doubly-fed wind power generation system. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
