Abstract

This study aims to develop a location-based technology that can provide optimized information services to users depending on their location. The ultimate goal is to develop an advanced platform and service contents for locationbased service (LBS) using spatial information. The proposed technology is similar to the Internet of Things (IoT) but differs by using spatial information as semantic location maps, an integrated platform, and a natural interface. This study is a basic step in the ultimate goal of realizing what is known as human-space interaction (HSI), which represents the proposed technologies in this study. This study focuses mainly on developing complete HSI frameworks and the fundamental technologies to realize this aim, such as a situation model based on spatial information, the IoT platform, a reasoning algorithm, and a natural user interface.
