Abstract

With the emerging technologies (such as video conferencing, smartphone, etc.) this is no longer a dream but a true fact, that for critical medical cases in hospitals, doctors from around the world could be hired, who will serve the patients by their physical or virtual presence. Earlier, this situation of taking the expert consultancies from outside a hospital had been studied with the perspective of mechanism design with money. In this paper, we propose algorithms based on the theory of mechanism design without money to hire experts from outside the hospitals where the patients are admitted, with a constraint that each patient has zero budget.
