Abstract

In the Report “Efficient access to unprotected primary amines by iron-catalyzed aminochlorination of alkenes,” the structures of azido and cyano derivatives 46 and 47 in Fig. 3 were incorrectly assigned as the regioisomers bearing a terminal amino group. The actual products are the two regioisomers bearing an internal amino group. The chemical connectivity was unambiguously confirmed by two crystal structures of derivatives, which have now been included in the corrected supplementary materials and referenced in the acknowledgments section of the Report. Presumably, these products form through the initial formation of an aziridinium intermediate followed by a nucleophilic.
