Abstract

Colonoscopy is an invaluable tool in colorectal cancer diagnosis and management. Detection and removal of colonic neoplasms are the key elements in screening and prevention of colorectal cancer. This chapter describes new techniques that facilitate identification and classification of polyps and their endoscopic resection. Endoscopic placement of stents for obstructing or near-obstruction lesions is also discussed.
