Abstract

Liver is one of the most vital organ indispensable for maintenance of normal homeostasis. The first step of development is imprinted on 16th day of embryo in the form of formation of ventral bud from primitive gut tube, which interact with mesenchymal component of septum transeversum to give rise to mature liver. The development of liver is complex process involving intricate web of various transcription factors which interact among each other and are regulated by extracellular signaling.
