Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the usability of Google Assistant and Siri virtual assistants, focusing on elderly users. The main results were that the elderly, even taking longer than the participants of the other groups evaluated, found that the virtual assistants facilitated the accomplishment of the tasks. Some factors that influenced the results of the performance of the elderly were the loss of cognitive and motor skills due to age and previous experience with the use of technology.
