In this chapter, an overview of HUDCO activities has been attempted to know how it is integrating various aspects of planning knowledge for the development, especially of the Karnataka state. The chapter also seeks to analyze the existing gaps in planning knowledges and offers suggestions for improving planning education and urbanization policy regarding better planned and improved habitats.
