Abstract

This paper aims at describing the contribution of the technological brick Safety Architect to the CRYSTAL project. The goal of the CRYSTAL project is to provide a platform of interoperability between tools supporting all the steps constituting the lifecycle of a product. Based on a railway use-case, the goal is to provide support for realization of safety analysis with All4tec tool Safety Architect (especially automating the filling of safety documents). The first steps have consisted in the automatic generation of FMEA. The automatic management of the Hazard Log through DOORS is currently in development, and the next steps will deal with the change management facilities. © 2014 Springer International Publishing.
