Abstract

Various image formats used online have different characteristics and can only be used in an appropriate manner. The paper creates a boundary around each format, for it to be used efficiently. It also discusses neat tricks and tips for optimizing rich content websites in mobile devices, which generally have low processing power. To save bandwidth usage and provide speedy access to content, compression is required. And hence this paper will do more in increasing efficiency of websites and greater effect on the performance and overall load time in slow internet connections. Reducing network latency has become very important so that many devices can connect to the server at the same time. However, it is even more important to save the bandwidth of the users who pay to view the websites. This research paper aims at outlining techniques to reduce the size of a website and encourage developers to code efficiently.
